The Magpie's Nest is a delightful shop situated just off the High Street in Canterbury.
They have an excellent range of collectors dolls (such as Hildegard Gunzel, Annette
Himstedt, and Zwergnase), teddy bears (by Steiff, Deans, and Merrythought to name but a few),
soft animals, and dolls house items. They also stock an excellent range of unusual gifts from Harmony Kingdom
boxes, Fragile World gifts, Adam Binder gifts, Flights of Fancy, perfume bottles, silver trinkets,

Life's Little Characters make collectable dollshouse dolls that are either 1/12th or 1/24th scale. They are
completely hand-crafted in every detail so no two dolls are alike. Their clothes are of an original design
tailored to the doll's individual features. The majority have movable limbs enabling them to be
gently positioned in a variety of postures allowing them to be arranged into life like situations
capturing a period of time.
